Why this series of sculptures around small people? Because I wanted to represent the shock of the gaze that confronts the difference. This insistent, curious, sometimes judgmental gaze that arouses curiosity in the person watching.

These disturbing looks in the face of unusual morphological landmarks, I knew them from my youngest daughter, who suffers from an orphan disease. It is indeed the relationship to difference, to exclusion, to the “normality” commonly accepted in our society that I wish to question in the spectator of my work.
What if we changed our value scale? What if difference became the norm ?
