French artist of Tatar origin, Pascal Haudressy (1968 - 2021) has developed a singular body of work combining sculpture, painting and new technologies. Digital images and virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics: the mutations of reality and the plurality of new experiences that result from them are the starting point for his thinking and artistic practice.
Forming a link between the distant past and the future, between science and myth, this innovative work was brutally interrupted by the artist's death.
This book, edited by David Rosenberg, explores the different facets of Pascal Haudressy's work, and brings together contributions from curators and specialists close to the artist: Domitille d'Orgeval, Françoise Paviot, Miguel Chevalier, Jérôme Neutres and Jérôme Sans.
Pascal Haudressy tribute exhibition "Somewhere we will meet again", presented at Topographie de l'art, Paris (July 5 -22, 2023).
