A retrospective of the American photographer Elliott Erwitt, 40 shots chosen from among his most famous works, all printed by Erwitt himself in his New York studio and commented by him.
Many of Elliott Erwitt's shots became icons of the twentieth century: Marylin Monroe, Nixon, Kruschev, and above all the dog-meets-dog series that goes back to 1946. Erwitt was drawn to a dog in a pullover presumably knitted by its mistress whose feet alone we glimpse in the picture. Since then the world of man’s best friend became a constant focus, often in comic terms.
