Catalogue of the exhibition ‘Françoise Pétrovitch - Unexpected Dialoguest’, presented at the Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris (9 April - 14 September 2025).
In this ‘Unexpected Dialogue’, Françoise Pétrovitch has chosen another woman artist as her interlocutor, Berthe Morisot, with whom she shares the themes of portraiture, childhood, adolescence and intimacy. Here, the parallel between Morisot's Roses trémières and Pétrovitch's ‘Suns’ highlights another bridge between the two painters: their very embodied, interior relationship with nature.
