Who are the people of Paris? What have we experienced together in recent years, from the terrorist attacks to the fire at Notre-Dame? What did the capital look like at the beginning of this century, and what does it look like today? Paris, true to its motto Fluctuat Nec Mergitur, has transformed itself to meet the challenges of this century and adapted to the new uses of its inhabitants, while maintaining its status as a world city.
