The idea of "awakening" is an interesting way of thinking about our present, the possibility of rebirth through creation.
Between the desire to escape the cities, to re-establish a more authentic and respectful link with nature, the feeling of guilt, fear and the trauma of "lock-downs", these issues have very quickly imposed themselves on society and politics, at once anxiety-provoking and unifying... but what about artists?
From Rousseau to Caspar David Friedrich and Henry David Thoreau, artists, philosophers and writers have not only reflected the concerns and sensitivities of their time, they have also put into words and images a relationship with nature that we need to define and orient ourselves.
AWAKENING is composed mainly of new artistic creations reflecting four sections dedicated to the "Renaissance of Nature", "Neologisms of Nature", "Nature under threat" and "Awakening the Body"...
