Vallauris 2024 International Biennial Contemporary creation and ceramics

Born in the summer of 1966 under the aegis of Pablo Picasso and André Malraux, the Vallauris Biennial highlights today the emergence of new ways of creating, with a marked orientation towards today's technologies, but also a return to ancestral techniques.

For this 26th edition and its competition, the jury selected 25 artists representing 14 different nationalities, with the aim of encouraging, publicizing and rewarding talented creators who explore the infinite possibilities offered by the ceramic medium.

This eclectic selection, combining established artists and emerging talents, testifies to the richness and vitality of the contemporary ceramics scene.
